About
Botulinum Toxin
A prescription only treatment for smoother, fresher looking skin
Botox® (botulinum toxin A) is a prescription only injectable treatment used to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing overactive facial muscles. It is one of the most widely used and trusted aesthetic treatments globally, known for delivering natural, subtle rejuvenation when administered safely and professionally.
Botox is ideal for treating dynamic wrinkles - the lines caused by repeated facial expressions such as smiling, frowning or squinting. It works by temporarily reducing muscle movement by blocking the nerve signals to targeted muscles, allowing the skin above to appear smoother and more refreshed.
Botox is a POM (Prescription Only Medicine), meaning it can only be supplied and authorised by a qualified medical prescriber following an appropriate medical assessment. All clients must be assessed before treatment to ensure suitability and safety.
To support safe and compliant practice, we run fortnightly prescription (script) clinics with our experienced prescriber Sam, ensuring every client receives an individualised and medically led assessment before treatment.
Downtime & Side Effects
Botox involves minimal downtime, and most clients return to normal activities immediately.
Temporary side effects may include:
Mild redness
Small bumps at injection sites
Light swelling or bruising
